Privacy Policy

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in — via Google, email and password, or a magic link sent to your email — we receive and store:

• Your name (if provided)
• Your email address
• A unique account identifier

If you sign in with email and password, your password is stored and managed securely by our authentication provider (Supabase); we do not have access to your plain-text password. We do not receive or store your Google or YouTube password.

If you sign in with Google, you can revoke TubePersona's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account permissions. Revoking Google access prevents future sign-in with Google but does not by itself delete data already stored in TubePersona — use Settings to delete your account if you want your workspace removed.

1.2 Content You Submit

When you use TubePersona, you may submit:

• YouTube video URLs (yours or a competitor's) for analysis
• Display name preferences

1.3 YouTube Data We Process

To generate an analysis, TubePersona retrieves publicly available data from YouTube via the official YouTube Data API and YouTube's public RSS feeds, including:

• Video titles, descriptions, and publish dates
• View counts, like counts, and comment counts
• Public comments on videos
• Public channel information (name, subscriber count, upload history)

We only access data that is already public on YouTube. We do not access private YouTube account data, and we do not request or store your YouTube login credentials.

1.4 Generated Content

We store the outputs TubePersona generates for you, including scripts, titles, SEO metadata, thumbnail concepts and images, and monetization suggestions ("Blueprints"), so you can access them later in your account.

1.5 Creator DNA

If you provide one of your own videos, we analyze it to learn your channel's tone and style ("Creator DNA") and store this profile to personalize future Blueprints. This is optional — TubePersona works without it.

1.6 Usage Data

We keep basic records of your account's usage (for example, how many Blueprints you've generated this billing period) to enforce plan limits and provide support.

1.7 Public YouTube Commenter Names

When we retrieve public comments from YouTube for research purposes, the comment author's public display name (as shown on YouTube) is included and may be stored alongside the comment text as part of your analysis data. This is publicly available information at the time of retrieval; we do not use it for any purpose beyond generating your analysis.

1.9 Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely (for example, session cookies managed by our authentication provider, Supabase). Optional non-essential cookies (for example, future analytics) are used only if you opt in through our cookie preferences banner. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies by default.

YouTube API Services. TubePersona uses YouTube API Services to retrieve publicly available video and channel data. By using TubePersona, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. For information about how Google/YouTube handles data, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

OpenAI. We send relevant, non-identifying research data (such as public video metadata and comments) to OpenAI's API to generate scripts, titles, SEO content, and thumbnail images. OpenAI processes this data under its own terms and does not use API data to train its models.

Supabase. We use Supabase to host our database, manage authentication, and store your account data and generated content securely.

Vercel. We use Vercel to host the TubePersona website and application.

Whop. Paid plans are processed by Whop, our third-party payment and subscription processor. When you purchase, Whop collects and stores payment and billing records (such as transaction history and subscription status) under Whop's own privacy policy and retention rules. We receive only the information needed to activate your plan (for example, payment confirmation and membership status via webhooks). We never store your full payment card details on our servers. Deleting your TubePersona account does not automatically delete records Whop holds for tax, fraud prevention, and billing compliance — contact us or Whop support if you need help with payment-related data requests.
